ADHDcast EPISODE XXIX – Birthday Boobs

For your consideration, let’s… ADHDcast!

The stars of ADHDcast - SEASON ZWEI!

Clockwise from top: D. the Deejay, Claire, Garrett Williams, Jordan Martyr, Zacharey Hollingshead, Mark Stantz, Brandi Shade, Steve Schalk, Tom Schalk, Paul Voigt, Amy Sulam, and Aedylon Issyrol.

Well, you can never say I’m not a man of my word. I told you “after #29 they may be less frequent”, and HEY, it’s a year later! These are old recordings but I’ve decided to take a break from writing to get a few more of them put out for your enjoyment and my own posterity. Sorry if this gets auto-downloaded to your iTunes library and you go “What? Who are these guys? What the heck?!”

D. the Deejay will start out the Foreword talking about ASTR, The Knocks, Cibo Matto, Placebo, Taylor Swift, Griffin House (Balls), James Blunt (Moon Landing), Extras, Splysrz, Insurgent, Just A Geek and Dancing Barefoot, Veronica Mars: The Movie, Freezing, Adventures of Puss In Boots, Parks and Recreation, Fringe, RWBY, DuckTales Remastered, Thomas Was Alone, Blade Kitten, Defense Grid, Legend of Korra, Mark of Ninja, Star Trek Online, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and You Have To Win The Game. Following that, he brings in Tom Schalk, Garrett Williams, and new guests Dani and Taylor Patrick so they can discuss BOOBS, sugar, drinking Crown Royal in the bathtub, minimum wage, the freshman 15 versus the sophomore 20, extreme couponing, Logitech commercials, hot moms with weed, Woodstock, Walking Dead, overpreparing for winter storms, hookahs, not advocating underage smoking, redheaded lesbians, Mickey and Goofy taking over China, Willy Wonka the evil genius, random flashes of boobs, whether or not Steve is hot in hockey pads, Tom’s dad having a bigger dick than Shaq, Episode Zero, doing it in the butt, snorting Xanax and other fun but illegal activities, ADHDcast: the porno, walking into doors, Omegle, Amy’s dick, a very happy birthday thwarted by Facebook, the Catholic version of Fraggle Rock, stereo Garretts, drinking bathwater, Mortal Kombat and Advent Children being great movies but terrible adaptations, Dragonball Z, marzipan, fried mac and cheese bites, Matt & Pat, calling ex-girlfriends in the dead of night for a booty call, Yuyu Hakusho, Dungeons & Dragons, Rockstar games, Tangled and Frozen, Atlanta, Niko Bellic having a small penis, adult stores on the highway, magical tattoos, learning to twerk from unlikely sources, bingeing on anime in bars, and a little bit more Wilson.

Before you tickle your ear buds (that makes no sense, can you tell I’m rusty?), let’s get these credits out of the way:

  • Today’s episode features the songs “Comfortable” by The Knocks, and “As The Crow Flies” by Jordan Martyr, used with permission. Go give them money NOW
  • The *free* Creative Commons-licensed music utilized in this podcast is by Stud, Das Kraftfuttermischwerk, Aleksi Eeben, and Ambientium, available over at Kahvi.org.
  • Staring with Season Two, between the Foreword and Interview sections (at roughly the 30-minute mark, give or take) of each episode is “Claire’s Compliments” – a daily ego-boost from a cute Irish girl. Do what you will with it, as long as it doesn’t involve kidnapping or explosions. Her signature tune can be found here.
  • Any questions/suggestions/comments can be submitted to diadae at mail dotkom (that’s an email address I’m spelling out phoenetically to avoid spammbotz), or posted in comments on this blog post. Even if you have audio questions or comments, go right ahead; I can splice them in. This includes questions for any guests, which I’ll bring up next time they’re on the show (if ever… though it’s likely they will be).
  • Don’t forget that you can subscribe to my YouTube channel to catch VIDEO versions of the interviews! (WARNING: the clips are unedited and will likely take longer to watch than the audio-only versions that I condense down into my podcast releases. Also, they will have NSFW moments that MAY include occasional boobies.)
  • This podcast is NSFW for language and crude humor.
  • This episode clocks in at approximately 3 hours long.
  • ADHDcast is released under Creative Commons.

We sweep back in with three raucous formats:

ADHDcast Episode 29 Zip files: (mp3) (m4a) (ogg) … and (one long mp3)

So hey, hope you liked it! Next time, we’ll rocket into space! (Just kidding, I don’t remember what’s in episode 30 so I can’t tease it yet… my memory is shot to hell, folks). Until we guffaw again…

ADHDcast EPISODE XXVIII – Glitter Ponies

Put down that toaster, or else… ADHDcast!

The stars of ADHDcast - SEASON ZWEI!

Clockwise from top: D. the Deejay, Claire, Garrett Williams, Jordan Martyr, Zacharey Hollingshead, Mark Stantz, Brandi Shade, Steve Schalk, Tom Schalk, Paul Voigt, Amy Sulam, and Aedylon Issyrol.

Another long break in the routine! This time I’m going to be up front with you people; the editing process for putting an episode together is pretty long and tedious, and it’s really hard to love doing it when it puts so much strain on my schedule. I still don’t know if I’m going to want to continue this show, but I’d like to try to get some of these old, already-recorded eps out to you. Don’t be surprised if after this one, they come with less frequency, and also are not quite so smooth and polished as they were before (because like I said, editing… geesh.)

D. the Deejay will be continuing the previous interview with Amy Sulam, Paul Voigt, and Tom Schalk (with Garrett Williams later joining us) to discuss Jonah Hill making Leonardo diCaprio throw up, the Pizza Underground with Macaulay Culkin, when Paul is going to murder Amy, fabric sofTener, dropping off Twitter for boobs, Vincent Price versus Rex Harrison, comedic timing, watch-phones, Rocko’s Modern Life, technical difficulties, moshing in your meanie pants, glitter ponies, advice on kidnapping, being on The Wire, celebrity stalkers, an artist’s responsibilities, Golem Vs. Frankenstein, Penis Mary Shelley, resurrecting Brian Griffin, The Voice Acting Alliance, Roger Rabbit, Sherlock causing Amy to cream herself, Real Genius, Seinfeld versus Friends versus Always Sunny, Mr. Plinkett being the door greeter of Hell, Scott Pilgrim’s false confidence, whether or not Jason Bateman was a creeper in Juno, Jennifer Grey’s nose, happy drops of water, and buying JRR Tolkien’s underwear.

Before we hit you with the funny, we gotta hit you with the credits:

  • Today’s episode features the song “Second Life” by Kitty Pryde, used with permission. Go give her money NOW
  • Most of the *free* Creative Commons-licensed music utilized in this podcast is by Kilowatts, Casimirs Blake, and Stud, available over at Kahvi.org.
  • Staring with Season Two, between the Foreword and Interview sections (at roughly the 30-minute mark) of each episode is “Claire’s Compliments” – a daily ego-boost from a cute Irish girl. Do what you will with it, as long as it doesn’t involve kidnapping or explosions. Her signature tune can be found here.
  • Be sure to check out the Savage Mouse Comedy website. Because, y’know, reasons. Also hit them up on Facebook.
  • This episode clocks in at approximately 2 hours long.
  • ADHDcast is released under Creative Commons.

It drops in three formats, G:

ADHDcast Episode 28 Zip files: (mp3) (m4a) (ogg) … and (one long mp3)

And off it goes into the internets! Hopefully it won’t take me so long to get to Episode 29, which introduces the lovely Taylor Lynn Patrick (and believe me, you’ll be so glad to meet her you’ll probably wet yourself)! Until then…

ADHDcast EPISODE XIV – Clint Eastpants

Weathering the dreaded Monday Hangover? Get ready to fight it off with… ADHDcast!

While miss Kitty Pryde lays down some gentle somnambulistic beats, pull the thick quilt over yourself that’s made up of D. the Deejay, Garrett Williams, Brandi Shade, Tom Schalk, and a super-drunk John Waynick as they examine such semi-confrontational concepts as having a Walkenfrog in your throat, video cards, Clint Eastpants, naming your children after anime, frothy mugs of water, adult cereal boxes, a pissing contest of hourly usage on Steam, what a tchotchke is, business cards, voicing Disney characters, getting Garrett laid, bison being the meat of the future, checking one’s leghair, mimosas and other liquor, being your own prostitute, fox-watching, more technical difficulties (one day we will get this right, I swear!), Max Headroom, the impending Episode Zero, Firefly and other Whedonness, Christopher Walkenwolf, sneaking into other people’s houses, Good Mythical Morning AKA Rhett & Link’s Excellent Adventure With Ayn Rand, Three Stooges impressions, NoisehairCast, nudism at its worst, The Flaming Drunkard, the difference between chai and soy, someone slipping crack into John’s alcohol, popper stoppers, being in a podcast with David Bowie, rim-job versus rim-shot, coffee after midnight, addiction to fanfiction, squeezing the ferret to get your money back, mounting John, mapmaking and its many trials, me being a “homey D”, deviantArt, attribution of alcohol consumption, how to improve one’s speaking voice, “come have sex with me”, this one time at band camp, Brandi trying to fix Garrett up with her skanky friends, getting a pineapple stuck up your ass, sleeping with cats, McDiving, Jack FM, de declawing debate, autotuning vulpines, a cold and delicious bottle of hand sanitizer, taking a screenshot on the Nexus tablet, and using the phone icon to change the volume on your space heater.

Be sure to weave the appropriate hand signs to defeat these intimidating credits:

  • Most of the *free* music utilized in this podcast can be found on Kahvi.org [by Altus + Trx], but I also used even more relaxing tunes by Mindphaser and a song by Royal Hawaiians, which can be found at Archive.org.
  • The songs “smiledog”, “Okay Cupid” and “Give Me Scabies” were used with generous permission by the inexplicable and cute Kitty Pryde. Go give her all the money NOW
  • Also, I used a permissably-short clips of a Gorillaz song. Because… if you need help with that one, then we’re done here. I SAID DONE. GTFO
  • Any questions/suggestions/comments can be submitted to diadae at mail dotkom (that’s an email address I’m spelling out phoenetically to avoid spammbotz), or posted in comments on this blog post.
